WHAT DOES 14 X 14 MESH COUNT MEAN: Poly Tarp Construction: Poly Tarps are typically made of multiple layers with a woven mesh fabric sandwiched between two or more polyethylene sheets. ...The higher the count the better quality tarp. 14 x 14 mesh count means there are an average of 14 threads per inch in both the horizontal and vertical direction. Heavier duty tarps will have from 12 to 16 threads... So our 14 mesh count is at the top of the quality list.
Finished size is approximately 4" to 6" less than the listed cut size. Thickness 12 mil, 3 layer heavy duty fiber ,6 oz pr square yard. 1200 denier. Reinforced double edges. Waterproof with UV protective layering .The tarps are weather-resistant, have 100% UV protectant and are mildew-proof. Each tarp is equipped with heavy-duty rust resistant grommets every 18 inches with rope reinforced corners. All temperature, all season use, Artic flexibility.
